Darrin VanBibber
Darrin VanBibber joined First National Bank in Fairfield as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer in 2017. In February 2019, Darrin was named President/CEO. Darrin had moved to SE Iowa in 2011 and had worked with US Bank as a Commercial Team Lead/Commercial Lender in SE IA and NE MO. He has been a commercial lender since 1997 with a majority of his experience at Old Second National Bank of Aurora, IL and Castle Bank in DeKalb County,IL (First National Bank in Omaha).
Darrin was born and raised in Sandwich, IL. He has degrees in Accounting, English, and Political Science from North Central College in Naperville, IL and has an MBA from Aurora University in Aurora, IL.
He farms southeast of Fairfield, IA where he lives with his wife, Ginger, and two children, Chase and Alexis.
James F. MacLean
At First National Bank, I get to work with a variety of commercial customers to meet all their banking needs. Whether its meeting new customers, helping new businesses or working with current businesses, I can offer the flexible and customized services that can work for them for their success. Given the wide range of products we offer at FNB, it makes it easy to take care of all our customer’s needs.
Troy Harrison
I joined First National Bank in Fairfield after graduation from the University of Northern Iowa where I majored in Finance and Real Estate. I enjoy working with our customers to develop customized lending solutions for their individual needs. I am proud to be a part of a local bank with a long tradition of supporting the local community. Within the community I currently serve on the board of the Fairfield Lions club, 2015 graduate of the Leadership Fairfield Program and a member of the Fairfield Elks Lodge.
Aaron O’Brien
I have 15 years of experience in Commercial and Ag Banking. I graduated from William Penn University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. I believe First National Bank of Fairfield is an integral part of the community. My personal philosophy matches well with the banks mission of taking care of the bank’s customers.
Deborah Rowe
I started at the bank coming up through the ranks of teller, customer service and then on to the residential lending department where I am the residential real estate officer here at First National Bank in Fairfield. I enjoy helping customers with their first home purchase, refinancing, and home equity loans. Our community bank puts our customers first reaching out to Jefferson and our surrounding counties. We strive to be able to help all our customers on a personal level.
Cindy Rinaberger
I started with First National Bank in 1999 in the Bookkeeping Department. I learned the background of the banking world. I now assist our customers with Domestic and International Wires. I enjoy how our bank has an international feel and enjoy helping our customers send money around the world.
Tracy Hock
I started serving and getting to know most of our customers while being a teller. I now assist them with all their debit card needs as I work now as an ATM/Debit Card Specialist. I also assist the wire department when needed. I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know our customers and their families along the way.
Deb Fritz
I am proud to be an employee of First National Bank and have much pride in Fairfield, the town I grew up in. I enjoy helping customers with their daily needs and value the customer relationships I have built through the years.
Samantha Campbell
I am so fortunate to be a part of the First National Bank family and joining the Customer Service group was a privilege. Among other personal banking needs such as opening accounts and online banking, I also work specifically with IRA’s, HSA’s, Safe Deposit Boxes and Consumer Lending. I enjoy working with the public and I take great pride in helping our customers with all their financial needs.

First National Bank has always been a friendly place to work and the employees are like family to me. As a Customer Service Specialist, I have the privilege to work with our customers and to make sure that they have a positive experience with us along with helping them with their financial needs. I really take great pride in helping our customers with opening accounts, personal loans, online banking, or simply balancing their checkbook. My goal is to ensure that my customers have confidence in me with their everyday needs.
